Professional Packing

Congratulations Daniel and Simon! Congratualtions to Daniel Camara who has just gratuated (June 2010) in English at Brighton University.

Also a big farewell and massive thanks to Simon Ranauro who has gratuated from Exeter university with a 2:1 in Structual Engineering. He has alreadty secured a job and worked with us for four years whilst studying for his degree.

Bye Dean & Sam Fairwell and big thank you to Dean Garside who passed his HGV1 and going off doing international removals for Interdean Relocations (no connection!). He will also be sadly missed having worked for over five years for total removals. Sam Colman has also parked his barrow and has gone off to work for PGL the outdoor sports/holidays for young people specialists.

Well done Julia!! Everyone at Total Removals is delighted to be able to congratulate Julia Hall on passing her MSC in Natural Science - from Trinity Hall, Cambridge, no less!! Julia has been working as a packer for the past 5 years whilst studying her 2 degrees. We wouldn't like to guess how much she learned about Natural Science while working along side the Total crew!!!

Don't fence me in... When running recently in Chiltern Hills (Close to where our senior drive Charles lived) he came across a elderly couple one of whom had become trapped on a barbed wire fence. They had been there for at least an hour!! Charlie removed a pillow from his ruc-sac (used as a training weight) and used it to help the stranded person climb over fence without further injury. He then ran back to his car and brought back a hot flask of coffee and other refreshments for the elderly couple. What a hero! We always wondered what those ruc-sacs were for!

Not going - gone! Credit to Johnny and Dean recently for having a van load of extra furniture to move at the very last moment due to the fact the customer was unable to sell any of it on eBay. The lads did not complain or become flustered and were able to quickly deliver the unwanted goods to a charity shop in between the main move and still kept the move on time. Many thanks for showing your willingness and ingenuity in getting the job done to everybody’s satisfaction.

Lost Treasure A special thank you must go out to Johnny and Ed for discovering some missing jewellery belonging to an elderly customer. The guys were instructed to dispose of a dressing table as it was surlpus to requirements. Fortunately just before the furniture went to meet it's maker, the guys decided to check the drawers to make sure that they were empty. The middle drawer had a secret compartment that contained jewellery that out customer had completely overlooked! The effects, which have both a high monetary and sentimental value, were returned to a very grateful owner! Great work guys!

Charlie Saves the Day! Charlie and his team were the heroes of the day last week! After driving to the delivery address they found that the family moving out were nowhere near ready to leave. The removal company that they had employed were completely unprepared, so like the dedicated operatives that they are, they ended up helping the family move out and quite literally did the move themselves. Without such initiative they would have been there until the early hours of the morning as would our customer! So well done to you both for successfully completing two removals in one day!
